Responsibilities:• Working with both technical and business teams to elicit requirements and understand the business outcomes and needs in relation to data• Building conceptual and logical data models that accurately represent data and data relationships within the business• Building logical data models in a particular business domain or platform• Ensuring data models conform to agreed principles and standards
Mandatory Skills Description:• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry• Experience of data modelling: conceptual and logical• Ability to build data models from the business requirements and also from analysis of current state• Data interrogation and analysis• Understanding of business analysis and/or requirement elicitation• Good communication and stakeholder management skills with an ability to communicate with both business and technical colleagues at all levels• Prior experience of working with data in a complex environment• Experience of modelling and building semantic layers• Understanding of data analytics, APIs, databases, and related technologies• Knowledge of Domain Driven Design (DDD)
Nice-to-Have Skills Description:• Knowledge of industry standard models e.g. Accord, Lloyd’s CDR
Languages:English: B2 Upper Intermediate
