About the role:
Looking for an experienced software engineer to join a dynamic, global, and rapidly growing team that is responsible for developing Simcenter HEEDS MDAO technologies. The position involves leading the development of new features and all aspects of software development from requirement gathering to implementation and testing. There is also potential for expanding skills in web development technologies.
What you’ll be doing:
Work with stakeholders to help collect and review requirements for new HEEDS features.
Design, implement, deploy, and maintain HEEDS features.
Act as an internal consultant and provide technical leadership to the team.
Participate in peer code reviews and documentation updates.
Follow all established development policies and processes from common SCRUM methods.
Help coordinate development activities with the product management, quality assurance and technical support teams.
What you’ll bring:
BS/MS degree in Computer Science and/or an Engineering field.
Proficient in application of OOP using C++.
Extensive development experience within a production environment (commercial software).
Good teamwork and cooperation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Technical understanding of optimization, design-space exploration, and software process automation.
Experience in complex software architecture design.
Experience leading a team.
Experience in a collaborative, agile development environment with flexible resources and development assignments.
Experience with OOP in Python.
