Job Overview
The Autonomous Vehicles Platform team is searching for engineers to develop and bring NVIDIA’s automotive platform out to the world.
You will participate in a focused effort to develop and productize ground-breaking solutions that will redefine the world of transportation and the growing field of self-driving cars. Work with hardworking and dedicated multi-functional engineering development teams across various vehicle subsystems to integrate their work into our autonomous driving DRIVE SW platform, while achieving or exceeding all significant NVIDIA and automotive standards & guidelines. You’ll find the work is exciting, fun, and very substantial.

What You’ll Be Doing
Primary point of contact for all safety related concerns during development and proactively working to resolve identified issues. Performing safety analysis and verification activities to confirm NVIDIA designs meet applicable safety targets, and directly contribute to products’ improvements when issues are identified. Directly contribute to all product life cycle phases.
What We Need To See
Bachelor’s degree (BS) (or equivalent experience) in engineering field 5+ years of experience in automotive or other safety relevant domains. Background in software or safety engineering. Strong modern C++ programming skills. Deep understanding of ISO 26262 or other functional safety standards. Experience working with assessors and customers in support of functional safety audits. Ability to self-manage, show leadership, and have good interpersonal skills. Excellent written, and verbal communication skills.
Ways To Stand Out
Strong CUDA and Python programming skills. Experience with AUTOSAR and CERT coding standards.
