Fortinet is looking for a Software Dev QA Engineer to assist our Cloud Security Team
Responsibilities
Research, analyze, design and review system specifications of customer centric cloud security products. Will have a senior above level engineer as your mentor. Work in hybrid with software development and QA team to design new cloud security features and conduct release testing. Design user stories and test cases based on feature requirements and use cases. Execute test cases manually and automatically. Analyze test results and report issues to the development team. Maintain and develop automated test scripts to validate all aspects of products based on variety of test cases.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent. Good understanding of various aspects of software quality assurance discipline such as testing methodologies (black box, white box), types of tests (non-functional, regression, user acceptance) and other test topics (test scopes, etc.). GUI and API automation development skills, preferably with Python/pytest, Selenium, and Postman. Experience with VM, docker, Kubernetes, and databases. Familiar with Machine Learning. Familiar with networking and network security is a plus. Familiar with AWS/OpenStack/Terraform is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $60,000-$85,000. Fortinet offers employees a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), 11 paid holidays, vacation time, and sick time as well as a comprehensive leave program.
Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program, Bonus eligibility is reviewed at time of hire and annually at the Company’s discretion.
