Your Role The Tableau Data Analyst is a full time position supporting our Company initiative to leverage data to better serve our customers. The position provides first-hand insights to our merchant partners to improve decision making. Leveraging visuals to easily identify strengths and weaknesses that can supplement future or current strategies. This position will be a liaison for not only delivering visuals but also helping the merchant population with how best to leverage Tableau and our other systems. In addition to Tableau, this position will assist in preparation of ad hoc analysis to support Senior leaders.
What You’ll Do Assist in bringing data to life through visualization from TableauPartner with cross functional teams to understand needs and develop, test, and deploy new visualizations that assist in better merchandising decision makingResponsible for updating, refining, and maintaining existing Tableau views along with ad hoc data analysis Communicates with buying offices on discrepanciesListening skills are a must as you will be taking needs from users across the organization to establish requirements for new visualizations or enhancements to existing templates
What You Bring Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or universityPrevious experience in retail, service, or other fast paced environmentsMust be analytical, articulate, and organizedExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalMust work confidently in teamsAble to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectivelyMust be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office propertiesMust have a firm understanding of SQL, Excel, Tableau, and DB visualizerQuick study on new computer systems and quickly understands and incorporates new system functionalityStrong follow up and follow through to make sure all tasks are taken to full completion
