Role Overview: They are seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join their team and focus on desktop solutions (Windows/Mac). In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated tests, collaborating with project scrum teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage, and primarily focusing on regression testing based on existing requirements, manual tester inputs, and risk analysis.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain automated tests for desktop solutions on both Windows and Mac platforms.Collaborate with project scrum teams to ensure comprehensive automated test coverage.Design clear, concise, and effective test scripts to ensure full automated test coverage.Follow up, analyze, and discuss test results with relevant stakeholders.Contribute to the configuration and improvement of the test automation framework.Work closely with the development team, functional analysis team, and other members of the test team.
Job Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or higher.At least two years of experience in automated software testing with a focus on GUI-driven applications.Proficiency in Python as the preferred scripting language.A system-based approach with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.Strong analytical mindset with the ability to understand and test complex systems to ensure safety and quality.Quick learner with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments.Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Desirable Skills:Experience with Squish for GUI testing automation.Familiarity with both Windows and Mac environments.Experience in the medical device software industry.
